What do I need to Notify?

Many types of building work projects in the home need to be notified to and approved by your Local Authority Building Control.

This leaflet highlights the types of building work that will need to be notified to your Local Authority Building Control unless the work is carried out by an Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) installer who is registered with the right Competent Persons Scheme.

This is the current version of the leaflet which was updated in January 2011, and replaces all previous versions.
