ACOP Course | Standards of Training in Safe Gas Installation

SGAS offer packaged and bespoke ACOP courses / gas training courses for ‘Gas Operatives & Engineers’ who do not necessarily work within the scope of ‘The Gas Safety (installation & use) Regulations‘.

Premises exempt from the Gas Safety (Installation & Use ) Regulations include, some factories, quarries, mines, sewage treatment works, test houses and gas training / assessment centres. (see Gas Safety (installation & use) Regulations).

Specialist gas ACOP courses have been carried out by SGAS across the UK & Europe in many areas of industry and manufacturing.

SGAS will carry out a ‘Training Needs Analysis’ on the business and design a specific ACOP Gas Course for the gas operatives / engineers.

The ACOP Courses and certification will help to satisfy the requirements for ‘competence’ as laid down by the Health & Safety at Work Act.
