Fundamental Inspection & Testing
This course is for those involved in, or responsible for the inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems under BS7671. The training will be a mixture of both theory and practical on purpose built rigs.
The practical assessment will take place on day 4 and lasts between 3-4 hours.
The closed book written assessment takes place throughout the year on specified dates and is 2 ½ hours long.
Candidates should possess the City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition and have a practical working knowledge of single & 3 phase electrical systems. Candidates should also have some prior experience in inspection & testing.
For those candidates that do not have experience with inspection & testing, City & Guilds have developed an introduction module to inspection & testing – C&G 2392.
Candidate are required to purchase their own copy of IET GN 3 prior to the course
