Specialist Gas Assessment Services (SGAS) was established towards the end of 1996, to provide quality Gas Training and Assessment Courses for the Gas Industry & also to serve the training requirements of Plumbing & Heating Engineers, Oil Firing Technicians & Electrical Engineers.

Since  1996 SGAS has expanded & developed, with a very strong brand for Gas Training and Assessment Courses, with a new purpose built ‘Centre of Excellence’ which includes a ‘Green Energy Skills Training Academy’ and a ever expandidng portfolio of courses in building services engineering.

Today SGAS can boast a ‘one stop shop’ for all ACS Gas Training & Assessment, OFTEC Oil Training & Assessment, NVQ Plumbing/Gas, Electrical Training Courses, Renewable Technology Courses and Building Regulations training and assessment courses.

SGAS HQ is situated on the outskirts of Blackpool, Lancashire, at the end of the M55 motorway, just 10 minutes from junction 32 of the M6 motorway. The 20,000ft2 centre has offices, classrooms and 45 training/assessment bays that have been designed to facilitate individual and packaged training courses & assessments.
